Udhampur, April 24 — A 20-year-old girl, Anu Sharma, lost her life after suffering an electric shock in Sunetar Panchayat of Ramnagar Tehsil on Thursday.
As per the Kashmir Bulletin, the incident occurred when Anu accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire while performing household chores.
She was rushed to a nearby health facility but was declared dead on arrival.
The deceased was identified as Anu Sharma was the daughter of Roshan Lal, a resident of Sunetar.
Her sudden death has left the entire village in mourning.
