JAMMU, August 25, 2025 — The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKUTDMA) has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall across multiple districts in the Jammu region over the next 40 hours, starting today.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the affected areas include Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, Udhampur and Rajouri districts and also Chenab Valley‘s Ramban, Doda, and Kishtwar districts. The JKUTDMA also highlighted the possibility of cloudbursts, flash floods, landslides, and water logging in vulnerable locations. Residents have been urged to stay alert and dial 112 for emergencies.
