Ramban, October 14 — A man suffered a fatal heart attack after his son collapsed in his lap while they were en route to a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Tuesday morning, according to details received by The Chenab Times.
The incident took place in the Tethar area of Banihal, when Shabir Ahmed Gania, aged 45, was rushing his 14-year-old son, Sahil Ahmed, to a hospital for medical treatment. Officials said Sahil collapsed in his father’s lap during the journey, and, unable to bear the shock, Shabir suffered a heart attack and died.
The bodies of both father and son were taken to the sub-district hospital in Banihal on Tuesday morning, officials confirmed.
