According to details received by The Chenab Times, law enforcement sources confirmed the body was discovered on Thursday evening after police swarmed a storage facility following leads on an abandoned vehicle. Fox News reported the death as apparent suicide by gunshot. CBS News noted the location near a parked car linked to the suspect.
The suspect’s identity has not been publicly released pending notification and confirmation. An arrest warrant had been issued earlier Thursday. The New York Times cited officials stating the individual is believed connected to both the Brown attack and the December 15 homicide of MIT plasma physics professor Nuno Loureiro in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Victims killed at Brown were sophomore Ella Cook from Alabama and freshman Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov from Virginia. Hospital updates indicated six wounded in stable condition and three discharged as of Thursday.
