The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a significant reshuffling of senior administrative officers, including those from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS). Shreya Singhal has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director Information, Jammu and Kashmir, a responsibility she will assume starting April 1. In another significant move, Amit Gupta has been posted as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate for Pahalgam. Rajesh Kumar Shavan has been appointed as the Director for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in the Jammu region.
