SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has ordered the suspension of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Anantnag, Sundeep Singh Bali (JKAS), with immediate effect. The suspension is pending an inquiry into his conduct.

According to details received by The Chenab Times, the government order, numbered 507-JK(GAD) of 2026 and dated March 30, stipulates that Bali will remain attached to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, during the period of his suspension.
The decision to suspend Bali was reportedly made following preliminary findings that necessitated a thorough investigation into his conduct. Official sources indicated that the inquiry would examine specific allegations against the officer, though the precise nature of these allegations has not been publicly disclosed.
