SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man was discovered deceased under mysterious circumstances in the Chakli area of Rajouri district on Monday, prompting his family to allege foul play.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the deceased has been identified as Aman Sharma, a resident of Chakli.
Sharma’s body was found lying beneath the Chakli bridge. Police were alerted and responded to the scene, taking the body into their custody.
The body has since been transported to the Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital in Rajouri. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities have acknowledged the incident and have commenced an investigation into the matter.
