Three Boys Drown in Tawi River Near Nagrota, Jammu; Search Underway

Three boys drowned in the Tawi River near Sainik School Nagrota in Jammu on Sunday evening, prompting an extensive search operation involving local police and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

The deceased boys have been identified as Sonam Dutt, son of Sunny Dutt; Bavish Koul, son of Manohar Nath Koul; and Aditya Pandit, son of Shah Ji Pandit. All three were residents of the Nagrota area.

Following the incident, immediate efforts were launched by local authorities. Teams from the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the NDRF were dispatched to the site to commence a search for the missing boys. The terrain and the river’s current presented challenges to the rescue efforts.
