NEW DELHI: Varsha Bansal has been appointed as the sixth chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh (JKL) chapter. The transition occurred during the chapter’s 42nd governing body meeting held in the national capital.
The Chenab Times has learned that under Bansal’s leadership, the FLO JKL chapter aims to build upon its existing foundation and deepen its impact. The new chairperson articulated her vision, emphasizing the philosophy that the advancement of women directly contributes to the upliftment of the entire community.
Bansal stated that the chapter’s focus for the upcoming year will be on the holistic development of women. This includes strengthening ongoing initiatives, fostering new collaborations, building meaningful partnerships, and creating expanded opportunities for professional and personal growth. Her agenda also prioritizes enhancing community networks and encouraging collaborative efforts to drive initiatives that contribute to broader socio-economic development.
The stated objective is to ensure that women’s empowerment translates into tangible and sustained positive outcomes within the region. With Varsha Bansal at the helm, the FLO JKL chapter anticipates a period characterized by purposeful initiatives and transformative growth.
During the meeting, the outgoing chairperson, Aarti Choudhary, was acknowledged and felicitated for her contributions and exemplary work throughout her tenure.
