Schumer among Democrats opposing resolution to block US bulldozer sale to Israel
Top US Democrat Chuck Schumer opposed a resolution aimed at blocking the sale of armoured bulldozers to Israel, as divisions emerged within the Democratic Party over military aid. The measure, introduced by Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, saw 40 of 47 Democratic senators vote in favour of restricting the sale, while seven — including Schumer — voted against it. Sanders said the vote showed “progress”, while Senator Mark Kelly cited concerns over decisions by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump in explaining his support for the resolution.

Hezbollah claims drone attacks on Israeli army positions near Nahariya
Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for two drone attacks targeting Israeli military positions near the northern city of Nahariya. In a statement shared on Telegram, the group said it struck a logistics base of the Israeli army’s 146th Division using attack drones. It also claimed a separate drone strike on an Israeli settlement near Liman barracks, north of Nahariya.
