Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir: A significant fire incident in the Bemina area of Srinagar on Thursday resulted in injuries to two firefighters and damage to four residential houses.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the fire originated in one house and rapidly spread to adjacent structures near Usmania Colony in Bemina, causing substantial damage before it could be contained.
Officials reported that the Fire and Emergency Department personnel responded promptly to the incident. During the firefighting operation, two firefighters, identified as Mohammad Arif and Tanvir Ahmed, sustained injuries.
