A powerful compressor blast at a factory in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has claimed the lives of two workers and left another injured, officials confirmed.

Information was available with The Chenab Times that the incident occurred at a factory located in Ghaziabad, a major industrial hub in Uttar Pradesh. The blast resulted in a severe structural impact within the facility, leading to immediate casualties and prompting emergency services to respond to the scene.

Incident Details and Casualties

The exact cause of the blast is currently under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest a malfunction or overload of a compressor unit. The force of the explosion caused significant damage, trapping workers and leading to the immediate fatalities.

The injured worker, identified as Banke, was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital for medical attention and is currently undergoing treatment. Two other workers, Tribhuvan and Imran, were also transported to separate medical facilities. Tribhuvan was taken to Max Hospital, while Imran was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. Sadly, Imran succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Safdarjung Hospital. Tribhuvan also passed away while receiving care at Max Hospital, according to reports from officials on the ground.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Following the blast, local authorities and emergency personnel were quickly dispatched to the factory premises. Rescue operations were initiated to ensure no other workers were trapped and to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured. The injured worker, Banke, is reported to be stable but remains under observation.

The Ghaziabad administration has launched a detailed inquiry into the incident to ascertain the precise cause of the compressor blast. This investigation will likely involve technical experts examining the machinery and the overall safety protocols in place at the factory.
