SRINAGAR: A man from Doda was critically injured in a brutal assault with sharp-edged weapons late Friday night at the Jammu Bus Stand, leading to the arrest of two individuals by the police. The incident has raised concerns about safety in the busy transport hub.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the victim, identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Doda, sustained severe injuries to his head, arms, and other parts of his body. In a disturbing turn of events, the accused allegedly returned approximately ninety minutes later and assaulted the victim once more.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Nikhil Hans, a resident of Dogra Hall, and Rishabh Kumar, from Bakshi Nagar.
