Gurugram police have implemented extensive security measures, deploying approximately 1,200 personnel to oversee the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2026. The examination is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 24, across 52 centres in the district, anticipating the participation of over 20,000 candidates. Traffic Management and Vigilance
In anticipation of the examination, the Gurugram traffic police have formulated a comprehensive traffic management plan aimed at facilitating the smooth movement of candidates and preventing congestion. Traffic personnel will be stationed around examination venues to ensure seamless flow and minimise disruptions. Furthermore, police rider teams are set to conduct continuous patrolling to maintain a strict vigil on the security arrangements and respond promptly to any developing situations.
