Jammu and Kashmir: Principal of GHSS Manjakote Attached to CEO Office in Rajouri

The School Education Department in Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the attachment of Mohammad Arif, the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Manjakote, to the office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO) in Rajouri district. The order, issued in the interest of administration, takes immediate effect.

According to details received by The Chenab Times, the School Education Department issued a government order confirming the attachment. This administrative move affects the staffing at the governmental educational institution in the Rajouri district.

Simultaneously, the department has assigned additional responsibilities to Mohammad Amin, who currently serves as the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Panjgrain, also located in Rajouri district. He will now hold the additional charge of Principal at GHSS Manjakote until further directives are issued. This arrangement aims to ensure the continuity of administrative functions at the school during the period of attachment.

The decision to attach a principal and assign additional charges to another typically stems from administrative reviews or specific circumstances requiring personnel adjustments within the education sector. Such measures are standard procedures within government departments to maintain operational efficiency and address administrative needs.

The School Education Department operates under the purview of the Jammu and Kashmir administration, overseeing a vast network of educational institutions across the union territory. These departments regularly undertake personnel transfers, attachments, and charge assignments to manage the workforce effectively and ensure the smooth functioning of schools and associated offices.

Rajouri district is one of the administrative districts of the Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a significant area with numerous educational institutions catering to a large student population. The smooth operation of these institutions relies heavily on effective administrative leadership and timely departmental decisions. The attachment of GHSS Manjakote’s principal and the subsequent assignment of additional charge are part of these ongoing administrative processes.
