SRINAGAR: A 38-year-old labourer lost his life after falling from a significant height at an under-construction residential building in the Habbak area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday. Officials confirmed the incident.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Kathoo, son of Ghulam Nabi Kathoo, who resided in Khawaja Bagh, Tailbal. He was reportedly engaged in construction work when the accident occurred.
Sources indicate that Kathoo sustained critical injuries following the fall from the structure. Family members stated that he was immediately transported for medical attention after the mishap. However, he succumbed to his injuries before any effective treatment could be administered.
