BARAMULLA, July 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the Mahayajna Dharma Sammelan held in Baramulla, asserting that the event signifies a crucial period of spiritual renewal for Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that such gatherings, rooted in the Sanatan tradition, represent selfless sacrifice and collective responsibility aimed at fostering global peace and harmony.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, Lieutenant Governor Sinha highlighted Baramulla’s historical significance as a historical nexus of culture, ideas, and spiritual knowledge. He stated that the Mahayajna Dharma Sammelan is actively reviving this ancient heritage, breathing new life into the region’s spiritual legacy and reinforcing Jammu and Kashmir’s distinct identity. The Sammelan, held in a land where all faiths are revered, resonated with prayers and Vedic verses, carrying a message of peace, goodwill, and coexistence to the world grappling with divisions.
The Lieutenant Governor articulated that the Indian spiritual tradition teaches the inherent divinity in every individual, transcending linguistic, regional, caste, and customary distinctions. India, he noted, stands as a testament to the flourishing of all religions, and the Mahayajna Dharma Sammelan is a vibrant manifestation of this national unity, embodying India’s authentic character.
