SRINAGAR: Authorities have launched an extensive crackdown across Jammu and Kashmir, detaining over 3,500 individuals suspected of having links to militancy, following the killing of a police head constable in Anantnag. In a related development, authorities on Thursday demolished the houses of two alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in the Anantnag district. The individuals were identified as Aadil Ahmad Thokar, a resident of Guree village in Bijbehara, and Haroon Ganai from Hassanpora. These demolitions underscore the government’s strategy to dismantle militant networks through punitive actions against their alleged associates and properties.
