Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – Leaders from Andhra Pradesh, including IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh and Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, paid homage to the late industrialist Ratan Tata on his death anniversary. The tributes highlighted Tata’s enduring legacy as a visionary industrialist, compassionate philanthropist, and a remarkable human being.
Nara Lokesh, in a post on X, emphasized that Ratan Tata’s humility, integrity, and commitment to nation-building continue to inspire generations. He noted that Tata’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the nation he helped to build. Lokesh further described Tata as a visionary industrialist and a compassionate philanthropist whose life embodied the principle that enterprise must always serve a larger purpose.
Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu also remembered Ratan Tata, stating that his life and work touched millions of lives and that his belief in giving back to society set an example for future generations. Kinjarapu added that India will always be proud of his significant contributions to the nation.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also paid his respects, noting that Ratan Tata brought dignity to the Northeast through his contributions to healthcare and ambition through industry. Sarma recalled Tata’s personal involvement in establishing 17 hospitals across Assam, transforming the idea of the Assam Cancer Care Foundation into a vital lifeline.
These tributes come as the nation remembers Ratan Tata on his death anniversary. Tata, the former Chairman of Tata Sons, passed away at the age of 86. He was widely recognized for transforming the Tata Group into a global conglomerate while consistently prioritizing social responsibility and ethical business practices.
