SRINAGAR: A man has died in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district after accidentally falling into a nallah. The incident occurred in the Uri area on Sunday.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the deceased has been identified as Zaheer Ahmed Sheikh, son of Din Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Jabla.
Officials stated that Sheikh was walking along the roadside when he accidentally slipped and fell into the Jabla nallah. The fall resulted in him sustaining serious injuries.
He was promptly shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Uri for immediate medical attention. However, medical professionals at the hospital later confirmed that he had succumbed to his injuries.
The local police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall.
