Information was available with The Chenab Times that Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu officially inaugurated the new Saket store. The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries including the Swedish Ambassador to India, Jan Thesleff, and the Chief Executive Officer of IKEA India, Patrik Antoni. The event underscored the growing economic ties and investment appeal of Delhi.
The Lieutenant Governor remarked that the opening of the IKEA store reflects Delhi’s increasing economic dynamism. The company had previously entered the National Capital Region approximately a year prior with its first Delhi store situated at Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden.
