Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – Five state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratories have been inaugurated in government schools across Srinagar district. The initiative, a product of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) collaboration between Alpha International and NTT Data, aims to enhance digital learning infrastructure for students.
The inauguration ceremony was held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nawakadal, with District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo (IAS), attending as the chief guest. The establishment of these ICT labs across five institutions—Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nawakadal, Government Boys High School Dara, Government Boys High School Panzinara, Government Boys High School Bakshipora, and Government Girls High School Balhama—marks a significant step in improving the quality of education accessible to students in these areas.
The project, supported by NTT Data under its CSR program and implemented by ELFA International, underscores a commitment to bridging the digital divide and providing students with access to modern technological resources. This initiative is expected to foster curiosity, confidence, and capability among students, equipping them for a digitally driven world.
