As the Govt of UT of J&K has announced fresh covid control measures keeping in view the present status of Covid-19, in this regard the Sub Divisional Magistrate Thathri Athar Amin Zargar chaired the meeting of market association and briefed them about the fresh guidelines with regard to transportation, operation of market, night curfew etc.
During the meeting it has been decided that shops shall be allowed to open on alternate days by categorising various areas in and around the municipality, besides it has been decided that essential commodities shops shall function as per routine on daily basis subject to the implementation of social distancing measures.
Moreover it was also decided in the meeting that all the donation collectors for religious and other charitable institutions shall be secreened first then shall be allowed to collect the donations which shall be applicable for 72 hrs only, besides the SDM urged all the shopkeepers as well as locals to get vaccinated as early as possible.
Meanwhile the SDM also conducted market checking at both Thathri and Premnagar,and also interacted with the public representatives asking them to extend full support to the Administration in implementing the fresh guidelines and also asked the police officials to implement the directions in letter and spirit.
