Colombo, February 1
The Sri Lankan Navy has arrested 21 Indians together with two fishing trawlers for allegedly poaching within the nation’s territorial waters after being alerted by native fishermen, the Navy stated right here on Tuesday.
The event got here because the native fishermen within the North have been protesting for over every week to cease the Indians from getting into the Sri Lankan waters. Navy spokesman Indika Silva stated the arrested Indians had been handed over to police. —
