In a new advisory issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate Thathri, it says that parents should keep school-going children in Thathri sub division at home for today.
“In view of the ongoing rainfall since last night, all the parents whose children have to travel a long distance, crossing nallahs to reach the schools are advised to keep their children at home for today to avoid any untoward incident,” said SDM Thathri Er Athar Amin Zargar (KAS) in a communication to The Chenab Times.
However, schools will remain open for students from the nearby vicinity who are attending, the communication further reads.
