District Legal Services Authority Bhaderwah today organised a programme in the premises of the Vision Academy Computer Institute at the old bus stand in Bhaderwah to celebrate National Youth Day.
The programme was organised on the directions of the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Bhaderwah, in which all PLVs participated.
Speaking on all occasions, resource person Adv. Mohd Majid Malik informed that in the year 1985, the government had declared the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, January 12, as “National Youth Day.”
Adv. Mohd Majid Malik urged the youth to take inspiration from the great thinkers of the society and to channel their talent in the right direction so that they can serve the society. On this occasion, various aspects of the Child Friendly Legal Service and the Child Protection Scheme-2015 were also discussed.
He also said that the day is celebrated on the birthday of world-renowned social reformer and philosopher, Swami Vivekananda.
The theme “Developing India and Developing Youth” was also explained by the resource person, and he also paid homage and tributes to great philosopher, thinker, and spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda and urged youth to follow the teachings and preachings of Swami ji for national building.
