Five Policemen Injured in Qazigund Accident

Qazigund – In a recent incident, five police personnel sustained injuries after their vehicle skidded off the road at Kurigam, Qazigund, located in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

The accident occurred when a police 407 van was navigating the Kurigam area, resulting in the vehicle losing control and veering off the road. All five occupants of the van, identified as Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmad, Constable Waseem Ahmad, Constable Murtaza Ahmad, Constable Amir Suhail, and Special Police Officer (SPO) Driver Sajad Ahmad, suffered injuries in the mishap.

Upon the occurrence of the accident, swift action was taken to provide immediate medical attention to the injured policemen. They were promptly transported to the emergency hospital in Qazigund, where two of them were later transferred to GMC Anantnag for further medical care.
