The Chenab Times Activism Mission for Unbiased and Impacted Results

Chenab Times activism is about the impact.

“We don’t make news for views, we make it for the positive impact.

It is seen that news channels and portals make news items for the TRP only, and most of the channels don’t think about whether there will be an impact or not. We are not saying all channels do it for TRP, but some of the major news organisations are well known for it.

For making an impact with any news, every real journalistic organization has their own way, but The Chenab Times‘ way of making an impact is through activism.

How The Chenab Times Activism Work?

For a news story, we first enquire about the matter on all sides, make the news, and then make a resolution/deputation and meet with the concerned authorities to work on that issue at the ground level. As we all know, activism consists of efforts to promote, impede, direct, or intervene in social, political, economic, or environmental reform with the desire to make changes in society toward a perceived greater good. Forms of activism range from mandate building in the community (including writing letters to newspapers), petitioning elected officials, running or contributing to a political campaign, preferential patronage (or boycott) of businesses, and demonstrative forms of activism like rallies, street marches, strikes, sit-ins, or hunger strikes. But our first step is to meet the concerned authorities and tell them to work on the issue on the ground, and if that fails, we will make news again regarding the update of the story. Our social activists who have joined Chenab Times visit the higher authorities regarding the issue.
