Chenab Valley – The Chenab Times

This valley includes Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Reasi regions. Also we found  valuable minerals from this valley.
There are many places which gives us an idea about the past living cultures just like MELA PAT, KOD etc.  So far as the excusrion point of view is concerned there are also many places just like the JAI VALLEY, PADRI ,BEMAL NAAG, JANTROON etc.

The above mentioned places are naturally beautiful but also a small step from government has enhance their beauty. Now if we talk about the people here the population is more than lacs.

Also if we talk about its development there it is too much far from the development point of view . We are not blaming that government had nothing done for chenab valley but that’s not enough.

If we take an example of PUL DODA  there we see that the river, which flows beneath the bridge , could be a very intetsting site for the visitors so that small SHIKARAS could run there. As our team “The Chenab Times” already posted many times about Chandrabhaga Lake.

Also there is a place in sub division Thathri which is known as JANTROON is also a charming place. A small step towards its development could make it a very intersting site just as we can call it a HILL STATION where the people can spent there much of time . Also near to this place there is a place called MOHRI which is wide in breadth .

These above mention places are those which  are still hidden by government as tourism point of view. If government shall start a small step about development of this place then it could be benefitted not only to the commercial point of view only but also people living in this area which are below poverty line which can hardly arrange money for their families, they can also be benefitted.

Also in JANTROON there differents cricket teams from different areas came and play matches. If there will be a playground then it will also attracts most of the peoples from other states.

Also during winter there the big and thick blanket of snow could be seen .

Recently 2000+ posts for Teacher’s recruitment by JKSSB  were advertised but no posts  were meant for chenab valley peoples while the most posts were given to Kashmir valley. Here we are not criticising anybody but its not fare  that seats are coming for whole state and you are giving nothing to one part of state while others  a provided with complete one.

There if we consider only our Doda district  there are 1/3 young graduates who are far away from jobs. There the jobs have given to those which can hardly teach upto fifth class only.

The Indian government should think about it and we hope this will be helpful to bare out the natural surprises and show it into the front of peoples so that people came to know about it .
