A controversy erupted after a person who received sms of his parcel and it was given to him unsealed by PO employees in Post Office Malanoo, a branch of 182203 Pincode of SO Thathri. The parcel contains some important documents, as per the recipient.
In an conversation, the recipient Mudasir Ali Khan said, “Post Offices in the Thathri and Bhalessa areas are mostly running in old buildings and some branches works from homes of employees. The post office in Malanoo is not at his right location while father of female employee is working in place of her married daughter from years. Our parcels remain unsealed for many days and I fear if my important documents get misplaced then my life career will come in danger.”
Meanwhile, public says that Head Branch Udhampur is not responding on complaints whether present or old on other issues. They urged to concerned authorities to redress the complaints in all branches of 182203 Post Office especially Malanoo and shift the Post Office to it’s original place.
