Keeping in view the inclement weather conditions and tough geographic locations of the polling stations,the District Election Authority Doda on Thursday airlifted 8 polling parties in advance for Dessa area today.
The despatch of the polling staff was done under the close supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode.
It has been given out that all these 8 polling stations fall under Bhagwah constituency,for which the election is going to be conducted under second phase on 1st of December 2020.
Moreover it has been stated that the move has been taken in consideration of the ongoing winter season and tough geographic locations of the respective polling stations and for the convenience of the designated polling staff.
The others who were present during the despatch are ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma,Dy DEO Mohd Idrees Lone,DIO Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani besides other officials.
