For the smooth Conduct of DDC and By-Elections of Panchayats, the District Election Authority Doda,on the directions of DPEO Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, organised a meeting of Zonal and Sector magistrates, Micro Observers/ Officers designated for Phase III polling, at Conference Hall of DC office Doda.
During the meeting, the Master Trainer briefed the Zonal, Sectoral Magistrates about their role and responsibilities in the election process.He instructed them to follow instructions of ECI in letter and spirit.
The Master Trainer also instructed duty magistrates to work in close coordination and update the District Election Authority about the latest positions on law & order and remain vigilant during the election process.
He also stressed upon timely update of issues if any and submission of desired information well in time.
The zonal magistrates have also been directed to ensure that there shall be no violation of Model Code of Conduct, besides to ensure all the SOPs guidelines are followed during elections to avoid the risk of COVID19 infection.
Further the Micro Observers have been informed that they have already been alloted polling stations and instructed them to keenly Observe the entire election process at the respective polling station on the day of poll and to fill all the required information in the given format which shall be handed over to the concerned Election Observer for further reporting.
The others who were present during the meeting are General Election Observer Kewal Kumar,Dy DEO Doda Mohd Idrees Lone,DIO Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani,UT level Master Trainer Fayaz Ahmed Mehta, besides other concerned officials.
