31 deaths confirmed on Tuesday morning, death toll reportedly increased up to 40 in Sidhi district. The death toll in the major accident on Tuesday in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh reportedly cross 40. This bus, filled with about 60 passengers, has fallen into the canal of Bansagar. Rescue operations have been going on since morning and corpses are being removed one by one.
After this horrific accident, about 31 bodies have been evacuated, while more than 40 people have been feared dead. In this accident, 7 passengers were safely evacuated. The bus had about 60 passengers.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has canceled all the events after the accident, while two ministers have been sent from the state plane to the spot.
According to official sources, the rescue operation is going on, 31 bodies have been evacuated in the accident. The rest are feared dead. The accident occurred around 7:30 AM in the Naikin area of Rampur. This bus was going from Sidhi towards Satna.
Death of 31 passengers confirmed, number can go up to 40
On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat and Minister of State for Panchayat Ram Khelavan Patel were sent from the state plane to the accident site. Following the accident caused by a bus fall in Ban Sagar canal in Sidhi district, both the ministers have left for Vallabh Bhawan directly to the state hangar to assist the rescue operation and the affected families.
Chief Minister canceled all programs
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has canceled all his programs. The houses of the housing scheme were to be given on Tuesday, in which Home Minister Amit Shah was also going to attend. Apart from this, the cabinet meeting has also been canceled.
