A 25-year-old youth was found hanging with a rope at his rented room in Ward number seven at Thathri town of Doda district on Friday morning.
A police official told Chenab Times that the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Ajay Shan son of Bihari Lal of Dhara Doda presently residing at Thathri.
“The youth was found hanging at his room,” a local said.
They said that they informed police in this regard, who arrived the spot and started investigation.
“An FSL team was also called and a case under section 174 CrPC for suspicious death has been registered at Police Station Thathri,” they said.
