The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid along International Border (IB) by arresting a Pak intruder in Samba district, officials said.
“Alert BSF troops observed suspicious movement along the Ban Glad area on International Border (IB) in the forward area of Samba sector,” officials told KNO.
They said the group was challenged but they did not stop. “Subsequently, BSF opened fire in which one Pak intruder was injured and accordingly was apprehended,” they said, adding that the injured intruder was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Pertinently, this was the second infiltration attempt on International Border. Earlier on May 6, BSF men killed an intruder in Samba sector.
