Khalsa Aid, a global non-governmental organisation, has donated five oxygen concentrators to the Doda District Administration in their fight against Covid-19.
The NGO notified Doda Vikas Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, that these five oxygen concentrators, each with a capacity of 5 LPM (litres per minute), can create 90% concentrated oxygen.
The concentrators were greeted by Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, who praised the NGO for assisting the District Administration Doda during the epidemic.
He added that these medical gadgets will help to reduce the demand for oxygen cylinders by concentrating oxygen from ambient air by capturing and filtering it, and that he would give them over to CMO Doda for distribution.
CMO Doda Mohd Yaqoob Mir, District Epedimologist Doda Umar Khan, Nodal Officer Covid, and other members of the team were in attendance.
