Kashmir: Mother, her two minor daughters injured in Kupwara’s road mishap

On Thursday evening, a woman and her two minor daughters were among three people injured when the vehicle they were riding in skidded off the road and rolled down a gorge in Lolab, Kupwara district, north Kashmir.

Officials said that on the way from Gagal to Warnow, a vehicle bearing the registration number JK-09 1469 skidded and rolled down a gorge, injuring three people. Tasleema Begum (age 34), wife of Irshad Ahmad Khan, and her two daughters Aayat Jaan (age 5) and Aabiro Jaan (age 4) from Warnow Lolab were among the injured.

The three were taken by local residents to NTPHC Maidanpora for immediate treatment, after which they were referred to SDH Kupwara for further treatment, according to the official.
