Chenab Times team met DC Doda regarding Multilingual Headlines program

A deputation of Chenab Times team met Deputy Commissioner Doda regarding Multilingual News Headlines Daily Program which was started by The Chenab Times in January 2021 for the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir.

In a conversation with DC Doda, Editor in Chief, Anzer Ayoob told about the initiative for promoting local languages like Sarazi, Bhadarwahi, Kashmiri and others is firstly started by The Chenab Times team in January 2021. All the members in the team are working effortlessly and selflessly for upliftment of Chenab valley. It was the first time that the endangered languages like Pahari languages especially Sarazi, Bhaderwahi, Kashmiri etc which are being ignored by Govt. The team is working for the promotion of these languages by own skills and abilities. After this initiative by the CT Network, prominent citizens of Chenab Valley highly appreciated the efforts of teams for introducing news in the locals languages which is very important and beneficial for people of valley.

DC Doda Vikas Sharma-KAS appreciated the efforts and directed ADC Doda R.K Bharti who is heading a committee regarding upliftment of local languages of Doda district, to ensure the necessary steps by adding CT team’s initiative in the committee report.

The members who attended the meeting were Naeem ul Haq Wani, Farid Ahmed Naik, Tahir Rihat, Abrar Batt, Saima Banoo, Khaleeq Anjum and Saqib Zargar.
