BSF troops open fire after noticing suspected drone movement along IB in Jammu

After a suspected drone activity was spotted along the International Border in the Arnia sector on Monday morning, Border Security Force personnel resorted to heavy shooting with Light Machine Guns.

BSF claimed in a statement to news agency Kashmir News Observer that forward troops in Arnia sector near the IB saw a flickering red and yellow light in the sky this morning at about 05:30 AM.

“Our troops promptly fired 25 LMG rounds at the flying object, which caused it to gain height and go towards Pakistan’s side,” according to the statement.

According to the statement, the area is presently being searched with the assistance of police.
