Officials said a helicopter crashed in the Shiv Garh Dhar area of district Udhampur in Jammu region on Tuesday, critically injuring the pilot and co-pilot.
According to reports reaching Chenab Times, a helicopter crashed in Udhampur’s Shiv Garh Dhar neighbourhood. The official stated, “Its pilot and co-pilot were critically injured in the crash and were airlifted to the hospital.”
Suleman Choundary, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur-Reasi region, said they received information about the chopper crash and quickly dispatched a team to the scene. “Due to the dense fog in the vicinity, it is unclear whether the incident was caused by a crash or an emergency landing,” he stated.
