I told you so…he is not a stable man and not fit for the border state of punjab.

Navjot Sidhu’s resignation coincides with Amarinder Singh’s trip to Delhi amid furious speculation that he will meet with BJP leaders. His aide, however, has officially called it a personal visit.
For Amarinder Singh, who resigned earlier this month as Chief Minister citing humiliation by the party, vindication has come much sooner than he may have expected.
Just two days after he quit, the Congress replaced him with Charanjit Singh Channi, who was seen to be close to Navjot Sidhu.
In interviews later, a wounded Amarinder Singh had declared he would “make any sacrifice” to ensure Navjot Sidhu didn’t become Chief Minister and would even put up a strong candidate opposite his party rival to defeat him in the Punjab polls. He also called Mr Sidhu “dangerous” for Punjab and said he had sacked him as a minister because he had failed to clear a single file. He used the term “drama master”, questioning his competence.
The “Captain” had described Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as “inexperienced and misguided” for backing Mr Sidhu. “I would not have taken MLAs on a flight to Goa or some place. That is not how I operate. I don’t do gimmicks, and the Gandhi siblings know that is not my way… Priyanka and Rahul are like my children… this should not have ended like this. I am hurt,” he had said.
