Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to fly to Srinagar and Ladakh after a slew of union ministers visited Jammu and Kashmir, according to sources. The visit is part of a larger outreach effort.
According to reports, the visit could happen between October 23 and 25. He’ll probably go to Ladakh, Jammu, and Srinagar. Shah will examine the security situation in a series of meetings with the security grid during his visit, according to reports.
For more over two months, high-profile visits have been made to Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Following the recommendations of a number of standing parliamentary committees, union ministers began visiting the two union territories. Under this outreach effort, around 70 Union ministers will visit Jammu and Kashmir.
