MeT forecasts dry weather till 5 November in Kashmir

A Meteorological Department (MeT) official on Tuesday said that weather will stay dry till 5 November in Jammu and Kashmir adding that a slight disturbance is expected in the region from the same date.
Talking to The Kashmir Walla, Deputy Director Meteorological Department Kashmir, Mukhtar Ahmad, said that till the evening of 5 November, the weather is going to be fine.
“There is a sign of an activity on 5th but other than that, the weather is fine,” he said.
“There is no sign of snowfall as of now. After 5, the weather is going to be fine and the temperature is going to be 17 _ 19 degrees,” he further said.
Meanwhile, night temperature across Kashmir Valley continued to witness a drop even as the famous skiing resort of Gulmarg recorded minus 2.0°C, officials said on Tuesday.
A meteorological department official said that Srinagar recorded a low of 2.6°C against 4.4°C on the previous night.
“There is no forecast for any major rain and snow till November 10 in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions,” the official added
