Revoke termination of OT technician : Anwar khan
Srinagar, Nov 06 : Senior BJP leader Anwar khan has expressed dismay over the sacking of an operation theatre technician in Rajouri who had allegedly posted a WhatsApp status updates showing the celebration of the defeat of the Indian cricket team against Pakistan.
In a statement to media, Khan has appealed GoI to take immediate steps to resolve the issue on humanitarian grounds.
According to an order issued by Rajouri GMC principal Dr Brij Mohan, the OT technician identified as Safiya Majeed was terminated from services with immediate effect.
Seeking Home Minister’s intervention for the revoking of termination against the Safiya, he said that hopes are there that she will be given a chance to return to her duties.
” Being the only source of income for her family, their future should not be destroyed in the larger interest of the country,” he said.
