According to a statement issued to The Chenab Times, Congress leader and District President Congress Sevadal O.P Bhagat refutes the affiliation of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s nephew with the Congress party.

“It is very unfortunate that fake news is being circulated in the media about Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahab’s nephew, namely Mubasher Azad, who joined the BJP and claims that the said person was a senior leader in the Congress Youth Congress. But I, being a congressman, Sevadal District President of District Doda, would like to clarify the reality and fact that Mubasher Azad was never a member of the Congress party. He has never held a position in the Congress Party. He misused Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahab’s name for his cheap politics in the direction of a specific party, which is always known for creating such types of false propaganda. Therefore, such types of people must be ignored,” the statement reads.
