Taking it as simplicity and innocence, various fans reacted after Aam Aadmi Party leader Mehraj Malik of Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district forgot his jacket in his first district level meeting where thousands of people came to join AAP.
In a Facebook post, Mehraj Malik wrote, “Today at a meeting in Townhall i gave my jacket to any Person but i have forgot that. If anyone remembers him and wants to return it, please you can contact me. Thats my favourite jacket🙂”
Reacting to his post, fans took his post as innocence and simplicity. Sahil Lone commented, “O ho ist meeting ma favorite jacket bhul gye 🤦♂️”. While, Eijaax Naik wrote, “it indicates your simplicity, Love you brdr❤❤.”
Meanwhile, senior journalist Asif Iqbal Naik also reacted and wrote, “Usko lagga hoga — gift diyae hogi — annae wale great leader ka toofa samaj kar raha hoga.”
Some fans took it as a theft incident with their leader. Mehraj Malik responded and wrote, “Jacket Chori nahi hui hai 🤦, bas bhul gayi hai.. mjhe b yaad nahi ha kiske pass hai.. Aur unko bhi yaad nahi raha wapis dena.”
It is pertinent to mention that Mehraj Malik is the only winning candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party from J&K. He won the District Development Council polls by a huge margin. As the Aam Aadmi Party won Punjab and made various announcements for the people, including the regularisation of daily wagers, the hope of daily wagers in Jammu and Kashmir grew. However, this was the first district level meeting of Mehraj and, according to The Chenab Times reporters on the spot, about 2000 people reached Doda City from parts of Doda district to meet him and join the party. In various sections of the population, this is seen as the largest achievement of a new party since this huge number of people visited for a meeting only.
