Anjeet Singh of Doda’s sub division Thathri in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir cracked the UPSC IAS with AIR 530, making it a proud moment for the whole region.
Who is Anjeet Singh?
Anjeet Singh is the son of Bhagi Ram, a resident of Nagni Bhatoli, a far-flung village of Tehsil Kahara in Doda district. According to The Chenab Times correspondent, he is currently working as a general line teacher in the school education department in District Samba. He cleared the UPSC on his second attempt and Ist Interview.
Family and education
He did his schooling from KV Ghat and, after graduation, B.Ed and PG from Jammu University. A local told Chenab Times that he comes from a humble background, with his father working as an ReT at Nagni Bhatoli in Tehsil Kahara and his elder brother working in J&K Bank.
