A man was apprehended along with a huge amount of liquor by Jammu and Kashmir police in Doda’s Bhaderwah.
As per a statement issued to The Chenab Times, it was learnt through reliable sources at Police Post Bhalra that one Vijay Kumar, son of Bhagi Ram, resident of Khaloo Bhaderwah, was habitual of selling illicit liquor and it was also learnt that he was in possession of liquor for selling purposes.
After the receipt of this information, police swung into action and a police team from Police Post Bhalra led by IC PP Bhalra SI Bhopinder Sharma laid a Naka and apprehended the said person near the village of Manwa Bhalra along with 38 bottles of whiskey liquor which he carried for selling purposes illegally.
Upon this, FIR No 118/2022 u/s 48 (A) was registered in Police Station Bhaderwah and an investigation into the case is going on.
