Due to prevailing harsh weather conditions, schools in Kishtwar district to remain closed, as per communication of CEO Kishtwar.
“In view of the prevailing harsh weather conditions since last night and the directions from the district administration, all schools, government and private, in district Kishtwar will remain closed today on the 28th day of July 2022.” All Hoi’s, HMs, and principals are hereby directed to adhere to the direction to avoid any untoward happening by treating the matter as most urgent”, reads the communication on social media of CEO Kishtwar.
Various areas have reported flash flooding due to heavy rainfall in Kishtwar district. People are sharing videos on social media and urging the administration to take necessary actions.(CT)
