In another appreciable move, Ababeel, a charitable trust also known as Ababeel NGO, is going to start a pharmacy/medical store in Kishtwar with a discount on all medicines.
The inauguration will be done on the 5th of August near Mohallah Umar, near Dist. Hospital, Kishtwar.
As per details available with The Chenab Times, Ababeel’s unit in Kishtwar has established a pharmacy/medical store with the name TABEEB PHARMACY for the general public of Kishtwar and its surrounding region. There will be a minimum of
a 10% discount on all medicines and a 15% discount for members. For a nominal annual membership fee of Rs. 100, the members will get an extra 5% discount.
It is pertinent to mention that for the first three days of the inauguration, there will be an 18% discount on all medicines.
Where does the profit go?
As we all know, Ababeel is known for benefiting needy people. According to Ababeel, the profit amount will be shared with the main donors who donated for the establishment of this medical store, while the majority of the profit will go to Ababeel’s Kishtwar unit. However, they declared that no amount from Zakat, Sadqat or general donations for the needy was used in establishing this medical store.
